Training Practice

Our Training Practice mission statement

We believe in a Primary care led health service Education and training and personal development within the team.'

'We embrace change and prosper as a training practice through innovation within a dedicated and committed team.’

Approval as a training practice is an indication of the high standards of work our organisation provides towards patient care and has been acknowledged by our governing bodies. Our part in training GP’s is valuable to recruitment locally, both Dr Hinchcliffe and Dr Teanby-Clark are continuing to train GP early years students from Sheffield University.

NEW TO THE PRACTICE

Our current GP Registrars are:

Dr M Ogundadegbe

Dr C F Echetama

Dr A Makanjoula

Dr B Boyejo

Dr D Seyoum

The practice is approved of being of sufficiently high standard to undertake the training of General Practitioners attached to the Doncaster Vocational Training Scheme. Dr Hinchcliffe, Dr Teanby-Clark and Dr Lambley are actively involved in teaching these doctors.  They are all fully qualified Doctors but wish to develop further their skills in general practice. These doctors are known as GP registrars.

We also have student Doctors and Nurses attached to the practice from time to time. You may be asked if you mind a GP Registrar or student Doctor/Nurse present during your consultation but remember, you do have the right to refuse to have them present.

Occasionally we videotape consultations for teaching purposes. The recordings will only be viewed by other Doctors involved in postgraduate education. You will always be asked for your consent before the consultation is recorded and you will always have the right to refuse.
